Demolitiocracy. - A state of enforced yet slow, dissolution.

in poem •  6 years ago

I did what I could, said all the words.
Scratched it into the walls I dug,
Whilst freeing myself from the drudgery.
Of this democracy.

I'm ready for love and I'm ready to bore.
Gonna tell the story again, settle the score.
The bigger the need the bigger the trout.
When you finally catch the prize.

Get up off your knees, boy.
Find out what you are, who you are.
Look inside, find the star within.
Hello your name is freedom.

I'm up on my feet but nothing left but stumps.
Crawl forward brother.
I'll lift you up on my back.

Comrades till the end, we march into an uncertain future together.
Onto the landmines, comes the rally cry.
I say we draw the line sideways this time.
Advance?
Ha.

This is not progress.
Think outside the box.
We can always go up.
Set yourself free, boy.
I gave you my all.
All I can do to make the call.
I've seen better days.
But you still have a task.
A role.
Part in the play.
Bullets left to spray.
Hands up my lovely prisoner.
It's time to Charge!!!
