BLIND LOVE

in poem •  3 years ago  (edited)

Deny me food, breath, water,
but not my maiden's heartfelt laughter;
for when she tends to smile,
my world's on pause for a little while.

Bring me grape, tea and flower
permit me to behold her sight for one more hour
Sing me songs of love
let her be the protagonist that dances in the tower.

Deny me water, breath and food
but not the angel who lightens my mood;
for she delivers tidings of everything good.
