The Light

Faceless people passing by,
I stood amidst the crowd;
As my dark thoughts crawl back in my mind,
I'm voiceless, my emotionless self want to scream out.

Would somebody reach my cold hands?
For a warmth of love is all I want,
A taste of affection is what I need;
So that I can recall who I am indeed.

I stood amidst the crowd,
Only to be passed by;
I slowly became blurry,
As my feelings started to fury.

And then I saw you,
Disheveled hair that looks good on you;
It seems that my demons have retreated,
Probably because of the light you bear but unnoticed.

And I whisper to myself,
"God, he is all I want"
Whom can save me from where I was;
And guide me to the light from this dark side.
