college football in another continent
the fire water of the Indians
socks on my feet, keep em dry

i like to write, and be right
i like to go left however
hold that line, defense - defense

drums bang on and on
in the blu tooth speaker
i'm on fire for you thy god

for you dear reader
i'm on fire too, if that is OK?
purple waves of gold and green

flossing your teeth in the morning
flossing your teeth in the midday
flossing your teeth at night

so hard to sleep these days
what, with the Apocalypse
and all that...all that indeed

america is the strongest country
because it delineates the seasons
better than a pagan state of old

summer, schools out, beach & baseball
fall, Halloween, football, & the antler hunt
winter, Christmas, Christ and the New Year
spring, bloom trees, turkey hunts & march madness

-the Whisky poem cycle

"Well, I'll tell you a story of whisky, mystics and men. And about the believers and how the whole thing began...And if all of the teachers and preachers of wealth were arraigned. We could see quite a future for me in the literal sands. And if all of the people could claim to inspect such regret. Well, we'd have no forgiveness, forgetfulness, faithful remorse. So, I tell you, I tell you, I tell you we must send away. We must try to find a new answer instead of a way"
-James Douglas Morrison "Whiskey, Mystics, and Men"
