Popcontest ~ The shining stars in my heart ~ My poetry, which inspired me Steemit.

At a young age I was very keen on poetry. I still have a thick notebook filled with my delicate verses. I even published some of it in the beginning of my blog. But recently this hobby was forgotten by me. Serious adult stuff, not giving a space of poetry. But lately I'm so inspired by the great good which carries Steemit, I'm reading the stories of ordinary people, dreams which come true here. Many creative people find their recognition. I see a lot of real help to people in distress, the charity of many community members. I see the good that is happening here, in my eyes. And I'm inspired by this! And this verse popped out in my head. I decided to share it with you. I wrote it in Russian. I hope the language barrier won't kill its essence. Thank you for reading!

Я поднимаюсь на крышу.
Чтоб коснуться сияния звезд.
Здесь небо и счастье ближе.
Здесь нет места для боли и слез.
Свет луны касается сердца.
Утихает в душе суета.
И во мне просыпается вера -
Что мир полон любви и добра.
И я верю в то, что однажды
Этот свет коснется земли.
И почувствует в сердце каждый
Силу света и чистой любви.
И мы станем друг другу ближе.
И мы станем друг другу нужны.
И опустятся звезды ниже
Освещая нам путь до мечты.

To touch the shining stars.
Here the sky and happiness closer.
There is no place for pain and tears.
The light of the moon touches the heart.
Simmering in the soul of vanity.
And rising in me faith. -
That the world is full of love and kindness.
and believe that once
This light touches the Ground.
And feel in your heart every
Power of light and pure love.
And we will become closer.
And we will need each other.
and falls below the stars,
lighting the way for us to dream.
