A City of Strangers - A poem of unexpected love by Adam Oriti

Hi everyone,

I hope you enjoy the first of many poems I have written over time. Unlike my art, I have never shown these to the world before, so I hope you enjoy.

You are the first to read them!

A City of Strangers
A City definitely full of strangers, a photo I captured a few years ago.

A City of Strangers

I’ll tell you a story,
Of days filled with glory,
That’s sure to warm the heart.

As night gets cold,
There’s a story to be told,
Let’s take it from the start.

It takes place in a city of strangers,
In a world that’s full of changes.
Tall buildings and a mass of street mazes,
I find you in a city of strangers.

I look in your eyes,
There’s no surprise,
You smile back at mine.

It sure warmed the heart,
From the beginning to the start,
It’s cold, but you warm up my mind.

This took place in a city of strangers,
With the moon and it’s many face phases.
In my life that’s riddles with changes,
I found love in a city of strangers.
