There's an emptiness inside this soul,
I work to find the mean.
A hole so dark, so damp and cold,
It struggles to be seen.
No word spat out through tongue or pen
Sheds light upon this morbid space
Abysmal, dreadful thoughts collide
And deepen it with rapid pace
It reachces its limit of sinister depth,
And its effects spread all around.
A plague of sadness and misery swept
Across the land without a sound.
As for this soul, one hope remains,
The darkness must be vanished.
You hold the key, the shining light
To make these haunts be banished.
A torch of all the pleasures past,
Falls from the sky above.
Illumination now the norm
Since hate's replaced with love.
