Lunging back and forth
Buffeted by the wind of indecision.
Swimming with the flow of uncertainty,
It has to stop...

African dream is no dream,
Tethering one to a spot,
Marooned without any decision,
Beavering away without doing anything,

A giant step they say it requires,
But riveted without a push,
The clime looks bleak,
Despite our sinew effort to reach the peak,
We strive but not moving,
African dream is no dream,

Unfortunately, It has always been a pipedream.
However, it will end soon,
Plans are afoot and in the pipeline,
Our votes we must cast heartily,
If we want a discontinuation,
of poverty and infrastructural deficit,
Clinging to us like leech,
Without a head-way in view.
