4:30am

Antsy fingertips tickle the bellies
Of a keyboard and a guitar, who giggle.

Poets of various centuries dog-pile a Bible.

The breath of a desk-drawer is scholarly.

I’ll visit a library made of bread later.

I’ll sip a garden’s caffeine at sundown.

The sky will be waking soon.

For now, the planet dreams a universe.
