Plain smile | Flood

in poetry •  7 years ago  (edited)

The water is unbearable
The mainland has full of concrete jungle
No more roots that hold back
Water fills the ground slowly

The home page is inundated
Children's playground is innocent
They are happy with a smile
As if not knowing this is my country's misfortune

Over and over again the flood approaches
Greet us in the spring
It's a gift from my God
In welcoming the new year
