No-Heart-Having Dust-Brain

I.

Appendage of dirt or the
Mouths of crustaceans inside
My eye that itches, that
Houses earthworms, they scream
Wild leaps from subterranean
Hovels & fertilize Houttuynia
Cordata
that salts my
Eel of a tongue, invertebrate
Automaton that skirts the border
Synthesis of lemon dream of beef.

Susurrating feline bath tile
Hyperkinetic transmission of fur.
Bristling, I start to speak
I stop, I never seemed to
Speak having finished, shut
My mouth & thought about well
Did I just speak or just think
Of speaking it? Something spoke,
And the Ablation of assorted
Biological matter that
Baptized me with
Dirt, confusion &
Lucidity of instinct
Came into being.

II.

Did I listen? Had I ever listened?
Having listened, did I hear? I
Heard electric blood ring
In my inner ears I did listen to
Ochre lectures of the
Writhing leech that prettily
Stuttered hieroglyphics of
Eyebrows that batted slick
Pheromone humus.
It was pink &
Grey-green
Tones of
Salivic
Silk.

We danced
Or thought of
Dancing, stepped to
Memories, that shaped
Us, confines that re-
Membered, We didn't
Dance or dream or
Speak or listen or
Hear anything with
No brain & dust
Hearts.

The earthworm is a very important part of our ability to eat wonderful produce. They work hard to make our soil porous and airy. They are good things. I am not sure but your poem does have to do with earthworms and the rich soil that creates growth and nature. We need to stop and honor the bountifulness of what we are given. I really tried but I think my brain is overloaded with doing too many research papers . Have a wonderful Thursday d-pend. I will have to rest my brain to greet tomorrow. Take care!!! :D
