THE EDGE OF TOMORROW
There was a young sailor
Who was named Finn Baylor
He had a fine old boat
That is proudly called John tailor.
He sailed on it,
From wolfs creek, to south man harbor
Where lies his manly manor.
Then let me said he,
Sail to the end of time
Because it will surely be easy,
Now that I'm in my prime.
So he set out
And sailed south
Through the perilous seas
Opening the ocean doors with different keys
With a ship full of a crew gotten on lease.
He rowed rowed and rowed again
till they found a waterfall, oh what a pain
Young Finn Baylor then thought this was his gain
Oh for he was wrong, it was all just in vain.
But he ventured in, without fear
Giving life itself a dare
Staring at it with a penance stare
A choice, nay two choices are left for him take
Then like a man with pride, he steers john tailor,
Into the Jon of oblivion.
Hello everyone it's another glorious day, though it was kind of stressful, I thank God for it all. Anyways today, I wrote a poem again, and not a review. It's all good cause I kinda like this one.
DIVING DEEP
So I made a strict rule about not explaining my poetry anymore and I'm keeping to it. Week I mean not going that deep into it.
It's about a rich sailor who had high hopes for life and kind of thinks too highly of himself. He ventured into a voyage of peril when he gets determined to reach the end of the world.
Okay I'm just going to explain some parts cause I didn't write this just for poets, but for non poets too.
DEEPER
*But he ventured in, without fear
Giving life itself a dare
Staring at it with a penance stare
A choice, nay two choices are left for him take
Then like a man with pride, he steers john tailor,
Into the Jon of oblivion.*
This part is the ending and it's talking about how Finn risked everything, even his life for a dream. In the end he dies but it's a noble man's death.
I don't think that got him too far though, well read to understand and... Enjoy

Yet another spectacular poem! Where do you find your inspiration?
This story of Finn is all too true in so many cases. It's interesting to think: If you had a passion, and every step toward your dream was like Finn's waterfall, how many times would you go back with a hunch, and how many times would your ship launch?

Actually I got the thought of this poem, from something that happened to me a while back. It's funny how life works but if we then knew I guess it wouldn't be life. Thanks for reading friend, greetings.
