Okay, things aren't quite that bad but lower Steem prices do have a way of emptying out the place (just a tad). I'm a bit busy lately but I ask myself sometimes, would that be a good enough reason for me to post less if Steem were, I dunno, $10? How about $100? Or $1000? And how many would I be able to earn then?

I am a simple minded person. I don't consider the prices when posting. I enjoy posting. I fee that if I post only when the money is good, then it's a bit like being a fair-weather friend - only when the circumstances are good, then I am around. Anyway, to each his own. Cheers!

I enjoy posting too but if Steem prices were much higher, I'm pretty sure I'd find a way to post more (even though I'm tired/busy/distracted). Steem was much lower when I started (somewhere around 12 cents usually) and I remember the night I saw it cross $1 for the first time. That was exciting :) but I'll be here even if the prices fall to 3 cents again. I'm more motivated by the long-term potential than the short-term ups and downs but as you said, to each his own.
