like tattoos,
etched across our soul.
will be the only mirror
into which we can smile and
find immeasurable warmth.
of the lotus,
life unfolds
as it’s meant to,
in every way and
in every season.
as we finally realize
our flaws were
only lessons and
our story, it was
perfect all along.
