a labor department poem

Something new I'm trying with Instagram and fanning out into other social media but keeping the Instagram image dimensions. Am wondering if a medieval (like a court jester) or a modern tone is better for this project... if you have any thoughts on that, please share them with me!

This particular poem focuses on Trump's defense of Acosta, his labor secretary, who seems to be complicit with alleged child sex trafficking among the political and connected elite.

The Trump's defensive, yet again, to keep the press at bay.
His worldly labor secretary Alexander A.
would cut his LA Bureau's funding, sopping up a glut
that stops the trafficking of sex and kids and who knows what.

This self-same guy, Acosta, let Jeff Epstein off the hook
when governmental spies were poised to throw at him the book
for paying teenage strippers for performing who knows what.
Too bad he's just arrested; he'd have loved this budget cut.
