Voyager-1

I heard a story when I was little
it was about how far you've gone.
It said you had Sagan's gold disc
telling a universe from where you've come

I sometimes wish, I could see and go,
to the places you've wandered to.
It's a sad thought that with all we can do
we'll not in my lifetime, travel as far as you

As you leave our little system
the one we war on and break each other down,
I hope those who find you,
will see there's still good in some.

I really enjoyed this, thanks!

I found the same poem in a comment on an article here: http://www.extremetech.com/extreme/151181-voyager-1-and-human-civilization-finally-leave-the-solar-system

Is there some way you can post a comment referencing Steem or something with that Disqus account, verifying identity? Thank you
