Why must we let fear bind us
Our souls beg to conquer this divide
And pursue forward
Leaving what we thought
Was unachievable behind
Moving past to find new heights
And raise our limits
On what we deem impossible
Only holding steady for so long
Until this ceiling is broken through
Just like many before it
These actions bring us power
And show us our own strengths
But how do we get there
Who leads the way
While our eyes are shut
Unprepared for the task in-front of us
Fearing for all negative outcomes
Not foreseeing the possible positives
This is the point
Where we need something more
It may already be in us but somehow
