I turned to her and said,
“But all isn’t right in the world.”
And she looked into my eyes
And replied,
“Sometimes that’s alright. It merely lets us know that we have room to grow and lessons to be learned. If we never feared, then we would never conquer.”
And with these words
She alleviated all the
Frustration and impatience
That held me
For she had seen the worst
And yet she had grown the most
She had every reason
To be confined
By the same negative energy
That ruled my actions
And emotions
But God spared no expense
In giving her grace
And filling her with light
Her beauty was only a blanket
That covered her greatest trait,
Her soul
