A BIOGRAPHY OF LIFE

Life's cycle never broken,
Life's anguish rarely spoken,
From a seed spawns’ life
As a cycle begins once more,
Just as thousands had done.
What's it all for?

The question asked,
But life hinders its meaning.
We are born, we live,
And Time is paid in full.
What's it all been for?

Sorted by gender,
Colour and wealth,
We soon learn to rebel.
“Seize the day!”
“Have it your way!”
“Don't be controlled by anyone!”
“Do what is right!”
Right by whom?

Who Controls us?

Rebel I say!
Rebel the light, the wind, Gravity
And all perceptions.
Rebel it all,
All that has been taught.
What is left?
Innocence and pure soul.
A white dove symbolic of
Harmony and Peace.
Where has society gone?
Hierarchy, money, science, the throne.
Where has it all gone?
Creativity stays,
And Life's cycle begins once more.
What's it all for?

As parents, we must teach
All that has been taught,
If all has been rebelled,
How would we begin?
And how would we end,
The second time around?
This unbroken cycle.
What's it all been for?
