Mourning For Thy Beautiful Soul.

in poetry •  6 years ago

As you lay there, tired and worn
With death dressed in joy on your face.
So calm and serene in your sleep
And clothed with a shroud of peace.

As I stare deeply into your face
The words fail me, but I weep
My sorrow, it lies so deep
O dear soul, May you rest in peace!
