Gaia

She was the world to me,
I taught her well.
She'd put to rest these human cells.
She could be the best of me,
Arrest my heart, she's buried now.
And now the rain is pouring down,
A salty storm, a constant frown,
My own is gone, and I can't see,
How I'll ever be without her.
