When I was not yours
I was lost in the world
Wandering in dreams
Unaware of my needs

Then you appeared
A soft light in my soul
A pale new moon
Lighting the road

Don’t fear, don’t doubt
This love we have—
Cling to me now
And stop looking back

For the world we knew
Before we met
Holds nothing but pain
And sad regret

You trust in God
Trust in me;
A three-fold cord
Can't break easily.

Hay días que haces magia, @johnjgeddes y hoy es uno de esos días. El amor es uno de los sentimientos que puede hacer grande e invencible al hombre. Cuando amamos y ese sentimiento es correspondido, nos paramos de frente al mundo con los ojos llenos de futuro y las manos llenas para dar. Hay lazos que nunca podrán romperse, el caso por ejemplo del cordón umbilical que tienen a madre e hijo. También cuenta la leyenda, que al nacer, cada uno es bordado con un hilo rojo que Dios pone para que sepas cuál es la pareja que te acompañará en la vida. Ese hilo se volverá un caos, pero nunca se romperá. Las mejores parejas las hizo Dios en el cielo. Te felicito por amar. Un abrazo

I often look for ‘love poems’, and I’m often dissatisfied by what I find. Sometimes, it feels to me that what I’m looking for is out of fashion. As a lover of love, and a believer that teamwork is essential in the reinforcement of the enduring, thriving kind of love, this was a beautiful one. So I’m all for clinging onto what’s precious and ropes are always handy. :)

you see the light of sight is half the right see
the other half is the accountabily upon such a gift
the sight and light go hand in hand
for once joined you will not find a worthier band

how long the coarse of this lesson has run
that the extinction of those for whom it was meant has begun
lessons long and short are always there
so the excuses for darkness have gone cold
