IS BLACK BEAUTIFUL? {A Poem}

There's a reflection in the mirror...
But im seeing a figure so inferior..
Exterior..
Anterior..
Yet there's nothing superior

Is black beautiful..?
If its backwardly, cowardly..
And bizzare.?
Is it beautiful..
Yet you lost the man you love..
Because he wished your skin could blink liked the sky

Is black beautiful.?
Yet these dark skinned damsels..
Are looking like semi baked angels...
Is it beautiful..
Yet their hair is pink...
Their lips are red..
Their knees are orange..
And their necks are green.?

Is black beautiful.?
Pretty cool..
Or pitiful..
Is it a sign of civilization.?
Or a tag of dehumanization?
Is it a topic of superfacial segregation.?
Or is it a bond, borne and breed with sheer darkness..?

Is black beautiful.?
Yet their plastic skins are white..?
White with discrimination

Is black beautiful..
Yet black is an acronymn of darkness.?
Hoodoo,voodoo and horror..
With utter terror.?

Is black beautiful..?
Yet our sky skinned brothers think they're capricorns..
And we are apes..
Is it beautiful.?
With the filth..
And guilt..
Serenading our government houses.?
Is it beautiful.?
Yet you're a future lab mouse.?

"Tag of dehumanization" I've mentioned this in a piece of writing before, the labels we use that separate us from one another, that anyone may be deemed less capable of feelings and dreams, be deemed less worthy of justice, happiness or life. Beautiful people are in every culture, country and color, but so are assholes, and to paint any piece of society by the Assholes that inhabit it is unfair to those that just want to live in peace and harmony. Beautiful poem.

Tag of dehumanization

I love what is coming from you here... And your contribution is simply a good one....

I like it bro

Wow you took me away with this comment.

You got me there, i was trying to question people who are black and yet they abuse the skin colour, infact, all form of abuse, thats why i wrote this poem thank you for commenting.

Please hel me resteem for more awareness.

You didn't have to ask, I'd resteemed it on merit already.

Is Back Beautiful?

A question to be asked at every angle of the black nations....

A more way of asking are you contented with what you have?

Many are not a multi skinned human....

Why?

At times people don't value who they are and what they are....

Well..... As for me.... My Black is enough and my friend is satisfied with his too

Of course @erikaharris, just trying to potray a picture of what people do to abuse the colour.

Thank you for coming im glad.
Please help me resteem.

I am half black half Native American Indian. I don't like your negative poetry that you are posting on Steemit. Black is indeed beautiful and you should embrace it and not focus so much on the racism and discrimination. When you speak on it, it exists even further. Are you depressed? Your poems about color are depressing. Steemit doesn't see color. Steemit is promoting creative writing and bringing people together. I have read some of your other poetry and you also talk about how you aren't happy about your country, your people and you speak about your black skin as if you're cursed. If you believe that, they brainwashed you, and you need to wake up. Research the bible and you will see there is no colors in the bible, just human beings. Be proud of who you are, and help uplift your people with positive energy.

Hey read between the lines, its about black people who try to abuse their skin colour.

Read well again and next time please try to sound polite
