This is my entry to hopehuggs poetry contest with the theme TIME.

ONLY TIME

Only time can make the green trees.
Wither away like a soul sprawling free
or heal a dieing heart.
With cupid's dart

Only time.
Can change the gurgling of a new born.
To a duchess, graceful and stunning as the sun.
Or the cold scences of winter's mindset.
To the beautiful daffodils of autumn's sunset

Only time.
Only yesterday the fields were filled with nothing.
But today the chrysantheums and lilies are a beautiful delight

only time.
Seperates a baby coop to a dieing man's grave.
Or a turbulent sea wave.
To mild calmness that can enslave

Only time.
Can tell
the painful past amidst amidst an unkown tommorow.
Only time can tell what is happiness from sorrow
