Waiting for you

I stand in the window of my room
Ordinary place I contemplate you,
The place when I wave to you.

I'm still standing here,
Stand until sunset leaves evening.
If you are behind the sunset,
Go home, I'm holding your son.

Great Photo and poem @kaitlyne!

Thank you @jeffhand.

"Go home, I'm holding your son." meaning? I have an idea... but it's strange :).

What is that?

Okay, you may find it strange, but I get the idea that the woman is pregnant and her man leave anyway... I guess there is no correct answer? This is the go home part that I find strange. A sailor maybe?
