I wrote this love letter many years ago. Like at least fifteen years. Probably longer. I confess, when I found this in a pile of old writing, it took me a minute to remember who I wrote it for, or if I gave it to them at all. I guess I cherished it more than they did, if I did in fact deliver it.
Maybe I created this for myself. This is often why art comes into form.
Regardless, I figured it should live again, and decided it was worth sharing here. For the hopeless romantic in us all. ;)

I must say, I'm impressed with the artistry I put into this. I used to create cards like this often, back in the days when I had free time and I wasn't using it to write novels (or binge-watch Netflix).
When is the last time you wrote a love letter, or created something inspired by love? Have you ever written a letter to yourself? (I think a love letter to yourself is a fabulous idea!)

Whoever it was for they were very lucky, it's a beautiful poem and very artistically decorated. It looks like this was etched into that type of paper that has a waxy coating you scrape off - not sure what it is called, gives the letters a very dramatic effect though. !COFFEEA

As for the love letter to yourself, I'll do it if you will! Powerful stuff that, recognizing yourself. You praise others all the time, encourage everyone else, but we have to feed ourselves. Everything is about balance, right?

Wow, you were pretty fanfrigntastic back in the Stone age too! Lol I absolutely adore the parchment and decoration. Adds the personal touch that can only come from your hand. Struggling through season 6 of Arrow. I loved the first 3 and am committed to seeing it to the end but interesting how much I notice the change over the course of the show. At heart, I'm a doofy romantic. I used to make cards and write poems (never did one to myself though but I think that's a sweet idea), set up picnics and so many more little gestures but as time went by and it was made clear they weren't wanted.. I stopped.
