INSIDE OUT VISION (An Original Poem)

it’s all inside

and the world is colored
by your vision
with every second
breath
and every emotion you choose to
dance with.

we look outside
and strike our claws
out against the world
tearing and ripping
at its flesh

for what it’s done to us...

our eyes facing in the wrong direction.
turn them around
and put that focus inside.

inward facing vision
and coloring our insides
with a beautiful hue
before we glance outwards
again.
