This past Sunday, at the market, I ran into this lovely man who was typing up on-the-spot poetry. Walking with my youngest son and daughter, I smiled and said loud enough for him to hear, "Yes, we must have a poem!" He commented that we looked the type with a spreading grin :)
(You pay him whatever you think it's worth) and offer him a start. I gave him the perils of love and he went from there.
He typed fast with stream of consciousness and handed me the card only after asking last, P, or S and my daughter and I simultaneously answered, S he wrote in slick red, so we were torn asunder rather than it being a plunder?
I read his poem out loud with drama and flare drawing a couple of other customer's over and he told me he really liked the way in which I'd read it back to him. I handed him a $10 which was the only bill in my wallet besides a $1 and we went on our way all with smiling faces.
So, the art of interacting with other creative types is typing up poetry.
And, now I have his poem on my bedroom mirror and I have and imagine I will on several more occasions (when I am working from a place of being free to be drawn) submerge myself in the pictures, the maps of his open offering.
And gifted we are by our own resonance, uncorrupted flowing through all that is poet worthy.... we knew it could be so, but now it really is, the loneliness grows and you are ever more my counterweight preventing a void from opening up (I don't believe in the void... but the others do... and they have plenty of tools with which to wrench the crack wider..).
Printing out the poem. Sending $10by mail: wouldn't want to "illegally download" this angel's work.

Never seen something like this here in our country. Writing poems is something i really have no ability in doing and it amazes me to know some people can do it in a second. Haha
