Kid Poems: When I Get Sick

in poetry •  7 years ago  (edited)

This is a simple poem of children who can not do anything because of illness. Poetry is the outpouring of a child who wants to get well soon in order to learn and play again.

When I Get Sick

When I get sick
I'm afraid to take medicine
Why drugs can be bitter?
Why the bitter thing
Made for healing

When I get sick
I can not go to school
I can not play
I really want to play
with theme-friends

Mother asked me to take medicine
But the medicine is bitter
I have to drink it
In order for me to recover from illness
So I can go to school
So I can learn again
So I can play again

Moral message:
Everyone will be sick. The sick person should take medicine and care. If sick can not do anything. To be cured should take medicine. The medicine is bitter. But it must be drunk for the sake of healing. The road to recovery is sometimes difficult. However, for the good, the bitter also will be healthy.
