and don’t play hide and seek, making me
weak.
my heart loves to overthink, and then i sink
in the ocean of my brain. i’m in such pain,
but i know if i complain, i will lay slain
in the middle of the street. come take a seat
on the throne i grew myself. you know yourself.
i think i am just immune but tend to ruin
sober thoughts with an invasion of my own anticipation.
my relationship with me is the definition of ugly.
