Living in a nightmare
a world unknown
and new
the constant fear of violence
that now inhabits you
the undoing of your life
all that you knew
questioning your reality
is now
a thing you do
understanding your existence
no longer belongs to you
controlled by actions
of someone
you never even knew
confused and afraid
never knowing
what to do
robbed of your freedom
just for being you
harassed and abused
feeling like prey
embarrassed to
speak out
it's all so cliche
lost in emotions
that keep you confined
unable to reach out
and oh
so quick to hide
a threat to your safety
little
hope for peace
nowhere to turn for help
not even the police
panic and confusion
take over
your whole being
almost as if
it was a foregone conclusion
never really knowing
the envy of this stranger
perpetually in fear
of this
ever present danger
uncertainty and risk
always by your side
the object of obsession
by a cruel
and twisted mind.
It sucks being -- STALKED!

Thanks @josediccus... It was probably mild and calm because I have never really been stalked.., this is based on a good friend (a female) that has been stalked by the same person for over 13 years and it has greatly affected the quality of her life.

One does get such a feeling when waiting for the lift in the night. Then when it's there it and you're in it seems that the doors just don't close for so long giving a chance to stalked feeling to crip in.

Thanks @pipokinha... It is sad.., and frustrating because many victims of stalkers have no recourse -- and just have to deal with it, hoping their stalker never snaps completely and hurts them physically.
