Rose is not Love

Rose is red
It's an ensign of love,
But if it withers 'til black
Will it then be hatred?

He gives you roses
But his love's not pure,
Will the rose still a symbol
Of love and forever?

Snakes are traitor,
But rose has torns,
Hold it a little
It bleeds even more.

Rose is red
And red is bravery,
Then red's not love,
Says Philosophy.

If rose is purple
Will she mourn a little?
If rose is green
Will its leaf be unseen?

Colours are hues
It can never define,
Illusions of the world
Interpreted by the eyes.

Rose is a flower
It never measure love
For raindrops are liquid
And not even petals.

Roses may show sweetness to ladies but it can never explain love and most especially, it can never help you foresee the future of your relationship.

I am not saying that you should not accept roses or any flowers. I wanted to emphasize here that you must not measure love on material things.

The "raindrops" on the last part may not be related to the rose itself but it has a connection with the love of God. Rain is a blessing, it came from God: that's still love, but it doesn't have petals.

Love without limit but learn how to love yourself. In the end, it will be you who will stay with yourself for a lifetime.
