Out of the dark

Lured into the darkest liar,
stood he with his despair.
The air cold, thick and heavy,
and all the world was his to carry.

Tears flowed from his eyes,
Tears that cleansed and resorted his sight.
With eyes wide shut he saw the lies,
and found within the glowing light.

Jump, sing and dance did he,
realizing he was always free.
Happy and joyous till his time ran out,
He lived life well, of that there's no doubt.
