White Flag

in poetry •  7 years ago  (edited)

Eyes open at 5 morn.
Rush on the 6am bus.
Cool breeze,
Rising sun.

Busy streets,
People and kids.
Light spreading,
Skin sweating.

People at work,
Students at school.
Young kids playing,
Old people staring.

Clock ticks,
Time passes by.
People waits,
People hopes.

Windows closed,
Doors shut.
People goes home,
Day ends.

Flags lowered,
Gates locked.
Night shading,
Moon glowing.

All these things,
go to the past.
White flag flying,
My heart crying.
