The Unclear Life - Poem

Words of painful delirium,
Oozing through the inflicted wounds.

Being that as the prologue,
For the journey we all call life.

New entries are still being created,
Not that we are unaware of the difficulties.

A fresh new life sprung from the ground,
Rose up to be a healthy plant.

With time it turned out into a huge tree,
The biggest in sight in the area.

Ego and pride was never the property of men alone,
They are part of all god's creatures.

With pride the tree grew taller
And taller to touch the sky.

With roots that spread across acres,
It sucked in all the water and other essentials.

Depriving it for the other smaller ones,
They came to him begging to share only to be turned away spitefully.

And so it went,
The journey called life.

There is something that we all forget,
That being, nothing is forever.

It was a dark stormy night,
When God sprayed the earth with his anger.

The Tallest tree in the area,
Naturally attracted the electrifying lightening.

A piece of black burnt wood,
Was all it was the next morning.

The other tree rejoiced,
For they were all to live once again.

Another seed in the ground,
Took it's first step, unknowingly to others,
It waited to grow to touch the sky.

This is powerful. This has moved me to my core. You've painted life and its difficulties well with your words. Those who have eyes have been warned. Being humble is Godly. Pride and greed will lead to downfall. Beautiful writing.

Thank you! Glad to know that you liked it.

I really did. It's a pleasure.
