Grim Shadows
Death
A grim shadow
Reaping silence
Disgust
Rejecting evil
Exothermic slime
All are dead
Silence
Muffled screams
Are heard
Yet not heard
Revenge
Is what I will enact
Upon thee
Slime, mold, and maggots
Decay, rot, and rotten flesh
And bones on the ground
Laughter echoes
Through the dark chamber
Shadows dance on the wall
A portal to hell.
Maniacal laughter
Prepare to destroy
Shadows on the wall
Twisting into new shape
They're laughing with you
The beast inside howls
"KILL!" it commands
Shadowy tentacles grapple your face
They morph into figures that huddle in the corner
Covered in blood and gore
While you laugh madly
They join you in the deranged harmony.
You're all insane
The voices grow in your head
You press a finger down on the trigger
Blood squirts out of the bullet hole in his head
As he hits the cold, stone floor
The reaper laughs
His shadowed coat swiftly graces the floor
Your soul screaming
Crying
Wailing
Dying
You sit crumpled up like a ball
Your heart explodes
As you watch the reaper
Take your love away
All is lost
The Reaper fades into the distance
And out of your life
But he has taken something precious
A part of you that you once knew
Melting
Beating
Heat
Forces of nature scowl
Life frowns upon you
The reaper laughs
A maniacal laugh that pierces the soul
All life has gone from you
A husk
A shell
A hollow rock
An empty grave
Where's my rose
Where's my love
This is torture
Your insanity grows
Embrace insanity
You're drowning in it
Darkness consumes your soul
It can't be stuffed back in
You laugh maniacally
It's too late for you
The reaper has come
To take your soul away
I'll see you on the dark side my love
