The stars talk to me

Busy like bees buzzing and mapping
Out the path for me
And you
In a slew of stardust and fairy giggles
We tried to read the lunar scribble
on the dark side of the moon
But it said
Stay sleepy
Remain innocent and humble
Watch all of your burdens crumble and collapse
They don’t belong on your back
Those heavy weights you’ve been lifting
Leave them on mars tonight
The stars crossed me and I didn’t bat an eye
But my heart fluttered
As Venus passed me by
Build a nest, make love, snuggle up
Now sing
I’m trying to gradient the radiance of all of it
But it’s just out of my grasp
The stars were so close
I could taste them, I swear
But when I reached
Nothing was there
Just space
Telling me to go back to sleep
The world is waking up
