I literally had to calmly take the poem in bits just to absorb its full glamour. I love your choice of register and the vocabulary was fully in tandem with it.

The poem had a flow. Progressing steadily from the mental perception of the damsel, then to a bridge of distance, a welcome and then the vision of the future.
