Oasis

A fertile spot in the desert.

We strive for salvation from the heat,

we look for answers in to meaning -

when they are already found.

the sweet spot of discovery, is a daily

job, a daily search;

We find the water in the desert.

(and) ask it for reflection, forgiveness.

It quenches our thirst and gives us life.

Taken us to the place we already knew 

inside of us, turning our blood to 

freshly streaming rivers.
