Доки з цього всього не написались вірші,
і це прекрасне ранкове сонце не затисли
орфографічними словниками,
доки й ми ставимось до життя,
як до музики, підслуханої
з теплого золотого вікна,
до музики, яку слухає зранку темноволоса жінка,
перевіряючи пошту,

доти й ми з вами, так – навіть ми з вами,
долучені до цього дійства,
до таємного переходу сонця над високими липами,
від східних околиць,
в обхід підступного вітряного потоку,
що розносить голоси радіоведучих,
ніби застуду,

доти й ми тримаємось радіохвиль,
мов релігійних переконань,
доти й ми віримо загубленій кимось ноті,
і знаємо лише одне:

не варто перемикати хвилі,
які тебе тримають,
не варто,
не варто забувати мотиви,
які роблять тебе сильним,
не варто,
не варто, зрештою, відмовлятись
від власного голосу.

У нас лише й радості в цьому світі –
спів зраджених оперних тенорів,
з пораненими серцями,
наче з гнилими апельсинами.
У нас лише обов’язку –
ділитися головним:
нашим голосом,
нашою чутливістю.

Тому хай буде ще одна весна.
Хай нам буде незручно за наш оптимізм.
Хай стебла очерету,
ніби антени,
вихоплюють із повітря найважливіше –
ритм і прощення,
хай ростуть,
хай ловлять
симфонічну музику
березня.

spelling dictionaries
as long as we treat life
as to the music overheard
from a warm golden window
to the music that the woman is listening to in the morning dark-haired woman
checking mail

So far we and you, yes - even we with you
attached to this action
to the secret transition of the sun over high limes,
from the eastern outskirts
bypassing the insidious wind stream
which carries the voices of radio stations,
like a chill

Until now, we keep radio waves
as religious beliefs
So far we believe in someone's lost note,
and we know only one thing:

do not switch waves
which holds you
not worth it,
do not forget the motives
who make you strong
not worth it,
should not, in the end, refuse
from your own voice.

We only have joy in this world -
singing the betrayed operatic tenors,
with wounded hearts
like rotten oranges.
We only have a duty -
share the key:
our voice
our sensitivity.

So let's have another spring.
Let us be uncomfortable for our optimism.
Let the stalks of the cane
like antenna
snatching out the air most importantly -
rhythm and forgiveness
let it grow
let them catch
symphonic music
