Winter

A winter wind blows through the air
A ghostly figure seen standing there
The ghost of love lost to the past
The ghost of dreams dead at last

A winter wind chills the bones
The darkened night sets the tone
Of death and dying and sadness
The chilling night brings out the madness

A winter wind sets the frost
Love and life all but lost
Staring out into the night
The silence giving such a fright

A winter wind seeps through the skin
A growing darkness deep within
A darkness that began with a lust
A fading life then turns to dust

Love it. So lucid and yet a bit melancholic:)
