If I needed something
You were there
If I was hurt
You were there
When I needed a hug
You were there

You were there for me always
You were there to help me out
You were there when I cried
You were there to correct me
You were there to guide me
You were there to protect me

All my life you were there
Now I find you gone
I miss you
I love you always
I will always be a better person
Because you were there
