OK, I'm going to weigh in.
First off, guys, put your six-guns back in your holsters. Tarazkp, I've known Oneazania for a long time ... he's one of the good guys. Oneazania, you've done the same research I have: Tarazkp is one of the good guys too. So is @arcange. So am I.
So, what we have here is an accidental screw-up. It happens. Let's not magnify the accidental with the intentional.
Tarazkp, I left a comment in defense of Oneazania on this post. In it, I included a couple of hyperlinks to articles I've written discussing some of the systemic problems of Steemit. One of the problems I see is that there is a disconnect between Witnesses/Dev's and regular users.
The Witnesses/Dev's seem to believe that there has to be an algorithmic solution to all the blockchain's problems. I, for one, disagree. Code, no matter how sophisticated, cannot exercise common-sense and discretion. No human child, let alone an adult, would have made the mistake that @arcange's software did. It was unintentional, but it still occurred. In my articles, I proffer a way to pragmatically implement such a human-based solution to prevent these kinds of conflicts in the future.
Oneazania, you and I both know that these guys are overwhelmed. Their radar screens are swarming with bogies, many of which become bandits. Once in a while, they're going to misdiagnose. Friendly fire happens in the real world too.
Whatever else, you don't make enemies of those who ought to be your friends.
Tarazkp, as the undoubtedly oldest guy in this conversation, I would council making an apology. Yes, I know, you were following what you believed was a reasonable protocol. There was no maliciousness intended and no one believes that there was.
Nevertheless, reputation is everything on Steemit. I don't mean "Reputation Scores" ... I mean real reputation ... the way that one human being passes judgement upon another. As almost none of us ever meet in person, our reputations are extremely vulnerable to being tarnished by rumor and gossip.
There was a ton of "emotional valence" attached to Oneazania's being, erroneously, flagged as a scam. There was no emotional valence attached to his eventual exoneration. The former will be remembered, the latter forgotten. That's how our brains work ... a lion makes a bigger impression than does a gazelle because our brain's are wired to hyper-react to, and remember, threats.
Oneazania needs a simple, clear and unambiguous statement from all parties involved that this was an error. He could, if need arose, send a link to such a statement to anyone questioning his reputation as a result of this incident. An apology demonstrates sincerity and reestablishes trust between aggrieved parties.
Nobility, and leadership, requires that we do more than the least of what is expected.
Speaking of making amends, Oneazania, the animated gif on the bottom of this post ... it needs to be removed and your flag rescinded.
Honor Amongst Soldiers, Gentlemen.

Sincerity is the order of the day and after reading some of his comments today, I find them disingenuous. I won't apologize for other people's feelings because they feel victimized and if they are unable to heal their emotional wounds, that is on them. As you know and if you have read any of my work, it is about responsibility and no one else's emotions are anyone else's responsibility except for the person who holds them. I teach this to my daughter and there is leeway for children but as they said:
Reputation means very little in this world in my opinion which is why I do not care so much that someone has attempted to tarnish mine, I just find it interesting considering the context.
This person with their two, three, four or more identities over the time is free to act how they choose and feel what they choose. They are free to badmouth others if they choose and sling accusations if they choose because they don't like someone. Some people let it slide, some won't.
Also, flags are not slander.
I have given enough time to this already in my day and my time is the most precious resource I have.

Like i said, it has nothing to do with feelings and suggesting someone is involved with scamming is slander.
I stand by everything i said including statements in response to @noideaslefttowriteabout for his trollong on posts he disagrees with. You and others here clearly seem to think that rules of decency only apply when you're the target of insinuation but all out spamming and slander in the order of steemitbadges or badcontent get a free pass.
Well, you've chosen to demean my valid case for a sincere apology from you more than enough times. It's clear to me the place you are at in your development as a person. It's supercilious arrogant and disingenuous to the highest degree. Good luck with that

That gif goes on unsolicited spam @quillfire. Spambadge is bot generated junk to raise visibility of @arcanges business. When people place junk in the street i don't put flowers onto it to make it look pretty. I always flag it. It's spam. No one ought to be given a free pass for throwing generated garbage unrelated to the content anywhere, regardless if they provided an opt out. Littering is never ok.
