[ORIGINAL POEM] The sound

This is an anti-war poem I wrote during the height of the Yugoslav Wars in the 1990's, but it's as relevant these days, unfortunately.


                 imagine
                 if everyone simultaneously
                                  would awaken:
                 what would then 
               the    sound
                        of millions of spears
                        millions of shields
                        millions of chains
               be     like
                   as they fall to the ground?
