My Revival - Poetry #1

in poetry •  7 years ago

As fall has fallen
Trees have shed their leaves
Believing in the calling
I tend to disbelief

Meadows of infinite sadness
Break my view of the horizon
I count more days awakened
Brown the leaves have fallen

A morning and an evening
From dusk 'till dawn I call you
I blindly pass through daytime
A sleepless night is calling

While time might stay still
Protecting what is coming
While innocence is ill
I still think of you darling.
