Wisteria

I beg you to leave me be
As your hands go where they please
But you still continue to invade me

My wrists burn as I struggle to break free
But you hold me down with ease
I beg you to leave me be

Do my screams not count as pleas?
I start struggling to breathe
But you still continue to invade me

You left me with nowhere to flee
The old me, I can no longer retrieve
I beg you to leave me be

I am abandoned, vines consuming me
Haunting memories playing on repeat
But you still continue to invade me

I no longer experience glee
And for that reason, I grieve
I beg you to leave me be
But you still continue to invade me
