Silent, I can wait here silent...
Working out the storm inside my head.
But something in me needs to be released,
I can't undo myself... Why would I have to?
I am who I am and I have MY place in this world!
Right to breath the same air, follow my own path... My own Way!
Don't try to take that away from me,
Don't try to change me...
Please Hear my voice!
Let ME be ME and please except and love me the way I am,
I don't know any other way to be.

Oh, sweetheart. Yes, it can get under your skin, for sure. It hurts to care so much, but I think it's one of our greatest gifts as human beings. To care, to be vulnerable, that is courageous! If we shut down the way we feel, we are turning away from a part of ourselves. That serves no one, it just makes the world a sadder place. But if we have the strength and willingness to shine, to be open, to care even if it sometimes feels like the world is falling apart, then we can truly LIVE and be the fullest version of ourselves.
