"Do not get me, darling, wrong,
but to whom do you now belong?"
The trees were waving by the riverbank,
she said: "I belong to handsome Hank!"
I fell on the rocks - totally blackout,
that was for me like a knock - out ...
I was hit with her words like with cannon ball,
but in our lives, we have to rise and fall!!!
Remorseful, I walked from her away,
I wanted to cuss, but I did it my way ...
Uh, yes, she broke my soul and heart,
I feel like a dummy and a useless old fart ...
