Bilingual.. (#my poem translated from Assamese language)

I bade Goodbye..
But before that I cherished what you saw
I led my carping fingers touch those
..was hurt with the ridges,
..saddened by the slopes,
..cut by the burning shadows..
And then, I shined.

I bade Goodbye..
But before that I lingered in the present
tried to match some chords with the hymn
I am all eager to reply
..it did come to me
..in fragments, like chatters..
And then, I flew.

I bade Goodbye..
But before that we shook hands for brief
that moment and many moments passed on, yet-
..I lived in my palm
.. breathed in your warmth
And then, I lied.
