See the world as it shatters
An elite species,
Minds of gold
Intentions of grief
Watch as we fall
Degrade
As we lay alive,
Our death bed with family, friends
And objects strewn
Innocence and kindness
Thoughts of the past
Where we sat and said
“Ah, peace at last”
Evil has no bounds
Good can be tainted
Where is this peace we spoke of?
Buried in the depths just because it’s tainted?
Life and death walk hand in hand
Smiling laughing
Disappearing with bodies strewn across the lands
How much more?
We all question the world,
Leaders, rulers all fall into
The depths of our extinction’s call…
Do we require a common enemy,
To unite us and stand tall,
To protect our beloved,
Our beliefs and world?
Answers profound,
We truly are by destruction bound…
